Crossing the Line

Well, it’s December 31st. Tomorrow is the beginning of 2009. So, I feel like I’m about to cross some sort of imaginary line. Maybe it’s real? I’m grateful that over the past few weeks I’ve had time to catch up with some people, and get a few things done, that I normally don’t have time for.
It will be interesting to see how 2009 treats my colleagues in the recording studio/mastering business, as belt-tightening usually leads to attrition. My guess is it will be a year of repositioning that will see a leaner-and-meaner recording world this time next year.
In the meantime, we at ZenMastering look forward to kicking ass and taking names. I hope 2009 is an opportunity year for you all, and to hear from you soon.
